About me

Hello, I’m Ann, a family photographer living in Fleet, Hampshire with my husband Derek and a crazy but very loveable Labradoodle Dandy (one of which is pictured here with me, the other was holding the camera).

I have enjoyed photography since the age of four, when I received my first camera as a birthday present. It only lasted for one film and then fell apart, but I still have the pictures from our holiday in Somerset to remember it by. Undeterred, I moved on to use Mum’s camera (Kodak instamatic) and have lots of slides of sparrows who seemed so close at the time, but something must have happened during the processing, as they seemed like dots when they came back.

My career change to photography happened when I finally decided life in a finance department wasn’t for me. Instead I would follow my lifelong passion and dream and moved into the world of professional photography.

Another landmark in my life was welcoming Dandy, our Labradoodle, into our lives and hearts. She’s our first dog, so first few weeks were very trying. But we’ve all grown because of her. Now I know what my dog-loving Auntie Jean meant when she said, “she’ll take over your life”, and oh how right she was. But I wouldn’t change things for the world.

I’m so lucky to be doing what I love to do, and because of that, really take a pride in making the photo session an experience to enjoy and the images from it will spark memories for years to come.

Let me share a little of what makes your family beautiful and unique and I will do my very best to capture it for you to cherish.
